Information Collection

Proseon Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on we collects information from our users at several different points on our web site.


During registration a user is required to give contact information including name, email address, phone numbers and mailing address. We use this information to ensure account security and uniqueness and to contact a user in case a problem occurs. In addition, if registered users provide payment information (such as credit card number and expiration date), the information is used for billing purposes only. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user.

A profile is stored information that is kept on individual users that details their viewing preferences and is then used for marketing purposes. does not use stored user settings for marketing purposes. User settings (Favorite Users, Favorite Stocks, etc.) are kept solely for the purpose of customizing our paying users' visits. We do not share your profile with other third parties.


A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once you close your browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on your hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your browser's help file directions.

We use a session cookie to control access to our membership areas.

Log Files

Like most web sites, we use web server log files. We use web server log files to administer the site, to provide broad traffic information for site planning purposes, and to ensure that our terms of service agreement is being adhered to. Communications from the Site

Account Administration Messages

We send all new members a welcoming email to verify their email address and password. Paying members will also receive a reminder email when their account is about to expire. Members who choose our monthly auto-renew feature will also receive an email message if their credit card is about to expire. We also send a final message to expired members just before their account is permanently erased. Users cannot opt-out of this type of messages, though they can deactivate their account.


If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for their email address. Out of respect for our users' privacy, we provide a way to opt-out of these communications. Please see the Choice and Opt-out sections.

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is interrupted for a prolonged period we might send all users an email message. Users cannot opt-out of this type of messages, though they can deactivate their account.

Customer Service

In response to a user's direct inquiry, we will send email providing assistance with their account or their use of the web site.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our web site.

We use Third Party Online Payment Providers (PayPal and to bill users for goods and services.These companies do not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purpose.

In the event, Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, an acquisition or a buy out, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred.
